New Years Eve was very stressful for them but they were physically safe from harm. It was very loud for them and it kept them up and barking until the wee hours of the morning. Kiwi was so tuckered out that she slept until 12:45 pm New Years Day and Holland and Dot were quiet most of the day. Hopefully by next New Years we will be in a different setting where they won't be so traumatized.

I've been looking at Pet Cots for the last year or so for my 3 pups but they are just too darn expensive. So the other day I was on the Walmart site and even their pet cots were out of my price range so I happened across one for children and looking at it I knew it would be big enough for my 3 girls and it was on 20 bucks. I ordered it on Monday and it was here in Vegas on Tuesday that alone shocked me. :) The only problem I am having now is with Dot, she has claimed it as her own. Kiwi is stingy with the toys, now Dot with the bed and well Holland is our short bus and really doesn't know what is going on. ;)

It's been our first summer in Vegas and a long one at that. My girls are definitely not used to this heat and they spend most of their days sleeping. Because of that my middle pup, Holland is gaining weight and I've had to change her to a diet food. I have her at some friends house now because they have a fenced in backyard where she can get some exercise when it cools off later in the day.

Kiwi my older girl spends most of her days with me at my feet or on her side of the bed keeping an eye on me. :) It is really cute how she makes sure her mommy is doing well.

My youngest baby, Dot is a handful but she is a baby so that is to be expected. I got her fixed and micro-chipped in July and she is doing fantastic. I only have one more Holland to get micro-chipped and then I am done. It's an expense to get all of them fixed and micro-chipped but it's worth it to know they are healthy and safe.

I'm not sure if we will be able to handle another summer in Nevada but we can't afford a place in CA. I'm thinking maybe Flagstaff AR but I'm not sure yet. I know the girls will love it because they will have a nice green yard to run around in and even in the summer it's in the 70's.
