pee problem
Posted Thursday, 14 January 2010 By Shelley
I have four dogs but one of them always has accidents in the house. The dog is a labradoodle. I have caught him one or two times. We have a doggy door and the other dogs don't have problems. I don't always reprimand him when I find urine on the floor because I didn't see him do it. He is now two years old. There is no medical problem and he is a rescue dog like all the others and we've had him now for over a year and a half.
pee problem

Dear Shelley
Rule out a urinary tract infection with your vet. Be sure to clean up the urine mistakes with an enzymatic cleaner, never use ammonia so the smell is gone, Elimin-odor is excellent.
If the urinalysis is negative for a urinary tract infection, then it is a behavioral issue which needs positive reinforcement and lots of patience to correct. He may also be "marking"
his territory.
Thank you
